What Happened
The wheel bearing is a crucial part that connects your car's wheels to the suspension. In certain cases, the bearings used on your 2001-2012 Ford Escape, Mazda Tribute, or 2005-2011 Mercury Mariner have the wrong size, which can cause problems.
Risk if Unfixed
Using a wheel bearing that's the wrong size can make it harder to steer and brake your vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
The company will replace the faulty wheel bearings with the correct ones, free of charge. You should contact Timken's customer service to arrange the replacement, and it's on them to cover the cost.
