What Happened
The low-pressure fuel pump in your vehicle is the part that draws gasoline from the fuel tank to your engine. In certain Lexus models, this pump might not work properly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel pump fails, your engine could stall while you're driving, which could increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Lexus dealer will replace the low-pressure fuel pump assembly for free, and you should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.

Original — What Happened
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2015-2022 Lexus RC, 2016-2020 GS, and 2022 IS vehicles. The low-pressure fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.

Fuel pump failure can cause an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
Original — Remedy
Dealers will replace the fuel pump assembly, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed June 5, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 26LB05 and 26LA05.
