Manufacturer

What Happened
The air bag clockspring in your Infiniti QX30 is a critical part that helps your air bag deploy safely. In certain 2017-2018 models, this part can break if there's an electrical discharge, causing the air bag to deploy unexpectedly.
Risk if Unfixed
If your air bag deploys unexpectedly, you could be at risk of serious injury or a collision. The air bag won't deploy as designed, and you may not have proper protection in a crash.
Free Fix
Your Infiniti dealer will add a critical grounding connection to the steering components, ensuring your air bag deploys correctly and safely. This repair is free, and you should schedule it as soon as you receive the recall notice.
