Component
AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:DRIVER SIDE:INFLATOR MODULE
Manufacturer
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.)
What Happened
Your Acura or Honda vehicle has a crucial safety component called the driver's side airbag inflator. This part is responsible for deploying the airbag during a crash. Unfortunately, some of these inflators may have been installed as part of a previous recall fix or replacement, and they could fail.
Risk if Unfixed
If the inflator explodes, it could send sharp metal fragments flying into the driver's face or body, causing serious injury or even death. This is a life-threatening situation that requires immediate attention.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the faulty inflator with a brand-new one, free of charge. Don't wait – schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice, and have your airbag system checked and updated to ensure your safety.
