What Happened
The pivot bolt is a small metal piece that helps adjust the height of your front seat. In some 2024-2026 Rangers and Broncos, this bolt can become loose or even fall out, which can affect how your seat is attached to the floor.
Risk if Unfixed
If the bolt comes loose, your seat may not hold you securely in place during a crash, which could increase the risk of serious injury.
Free Fix
Your Ford dealer will inspect the pivot bolt and replace it with a new one if necessary, completely free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice.
