Component
FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY
Manufacturer
CHRYSLER LLC
What Happened
Your vehicle's fuel tank has a problem with the valve that stops fuel from leaking out when you're done refueling. This valve might not close properly, which could cause fuel to leak out.
Risk if Unfixed
If this happens, and there's an ignition source nearby, it could lead to a fire.
Free Fix
A free repair will be done at the dealership, which will replace the faulty fuel tank assembly. They'll inspect the valve first, and if it's the problem, they'll replace the whole tank to keep you safe.
