What Happened
There's a problem with the way the front doors latch on your vehicle. The cable that connects the door latch to the interior handle might come loose, causing the latch to get stuck or not work properly.
Risk if Unfixed
If your door isn't latched properly, a person in the front seat might fall out of the car while driving or be thrown out in a crash, which could lead to serious injury.
Free Fix
The dealership will add a safety feature to both front doors to prevent this from happening. This service is free, and it's a follow-up to a previous recall from 2007. You can contact Chrysler at 1-800-853-1403 to schedule the repair.
