What Happened
The radiator in your vehicle is a critical part that helps keep your engine cool. In some 2.4L engine models, coolant can seep into a sensitive electrical connector near the fan.
Risk if Unfixed
This could cause a short circuit, which could spark an engine compartment fire while your car is running.
Free Fix
Your dealer will inspect the connector, add a protective cover, and replace the fan motor with a new one – all at no cost to you.

Risk if Unfixed
If this happens, you could lose control of your vehicle and crash without warning, which could be very serious.

You should take your vehicle to a dealership to have the ABS electronic control unit reprogrammed for free. This fix is already available, and you can contact DaimlerChrysler at 1-800-853-1403 if you have any questions.

The wiring system in your Sebring or Avenger is where the tire pressure monitoring system lives. There are some unused wires that could corrode and cause problems.
Risk if Unfixed
If these wires corrode, your engine could stall without warning, which could cause a crash. You might not get any warning lights or signals before it happens.
Free Fix
Your dealer will seal the wires to prevent corrosion, and this repair is completely free. You should schedule it right away when you get the recall notice.
