SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:FOUNDATION COMPONENTS:MASTER CYLINDER
Manufacturer
CARDONE INDUSTRIES, INC.
What Happened
The master cylinder is a key part of your vehicle's braking system. It's responsible for building pressure to make the brakes work. In some cases, the seal on the master cylinder can fail and leak brake fluid.
Risk if Unfixed
If your master cylinder seal fails, brake fluid will leak out, making it harder for your brakes to work properly. This could lead to poor braking performance, which might cause a vehicle crash.
Free Fix
Your dealer will notify you when the defective master cylinder is available to be repurchased. If you've already had a replacement installed, you can contact Cardone directly at 1-800-777-4780 to arrange for a repurchase.
