The ignition switch in your vehicle is the part that controls when the engine and other systems are on. In some 2005-2014 models, the weight on your key ring could accidentally turn off the engine while driving.
Risk if Unfixed
If the engine shuts off unexpectedly, you'll lose power steering and power brakes, making it harder to control your vehicle and increasing the risk of a serious crash. Also, if you're in a crash, your airbags might not deploy.
Free Fix
