Free Fix
Your Cadillac dealer will replace the faulty airbag module with a new one, at no cost to you. You'll get a letter from GM explaining the issue and the fix, and you should schedule the repair as soon as you can.

The sun/moon roof assembly in your 2013-2016 Cadillac ATS has a switch that controls the roof's opening and closing. However, this switch isn't recessed, so it can be accidentally pressed when you're not even touching it.
Risk if Unfixed
If the roof switch is pressed accidentally, the roof panel could close suddenly while it's open. This could lead to a personal injury, especially if you're a passenger who's not buckled in.
Free Fix
Your Cadillac dealer will replace the roof console switch trim plate, at no cost to you. This will prevent accidental roof closures and ensure your safety. You should schedule this repair as soon as possible.
