What Happened
The trailing arm is a critical part that connects your minivan's rear axle to the chassis. During conversion, the welding process may not have been done correctly, which could cause problems down the road.
Risk if Unfixed
If the trailing arm isn't properly attached, you could hear a squeaking or clunking noise, and eventually the arm could break, causing the rear axle to separate from the chassis. This could make your vehicle unstable and increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your dealer will inspect your vehicle and replace the trailing arm if necessary, using a special retrofit part – all at no cost to you. They'll have the parts ready to go, and you should schedule the repair as soon as possible.
