Component
SUSPENSION:REAR
Manufacturer
BRAUN CORPORATION
What Happened
The trailing arm in your vehicle's rear suspension is a metal piece that helps keep your wheels steady. In some 2005-2008 GM Mobility conversion vans, this part might not have been welded properly.
Risk if Unfixed
If it fails, you might hear a squeaking or clunking noise from the rear of your vehicle. If that happens, the trailing arm could break or come loose, causing a partial separation of the rear axle from the chassis, and increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your authorized dealer will inspect your vehicle and replace the trailing arm with a new one, free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible.
