ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL (ESC):CONTROL MODULE

Manufacturer
BMW of North America, LLC
What Happened
The electronic stability control module in your vehicle is a computer that helps your car stay stable and controlled. In some 2023-2025 BMW models, the welds in this module's servomotor can break, causing problems with your brakes.
Risk if Unfixed
If the servomotor breaks, your car's power brake assist and rear brake function could fail. This means it'll take longer to stop, and you could lose control of your vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will replace the faulty brake system at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible after receiving the recall notice.
