Component

POWER TRAIN:CLUTCH ASSEMBLY

Manufacturer
BMW of North America, LLC
What Happened
The clutch cover on your motorcycle is held in place by 10 bolts that need to be lubricated to prevent corrosion. In some 2022 S1000RR, M1000RR, and 2022-2023 S1000XR and S1000R models, these bolts weren't properly lubricated.
Risk if Unfixed
If the clutch cover bolts become loose, they can cause oil to leak, which could put you at risk of a crash or a fire while you're riding.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will replace all 10 clutch cover bolts with new ones that are properly lubricated, and they'll do it for free. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.
