What Happened
The brake fluid reservoir cap on your motorcycle is a small part that tells you how to fill the brake system with the right type of brake fluid. In some 2018-2020 models, this cap might not have clear instructions.
Risk if Unfixed
If you don't follow the correct maintenance procedure, your brakes might not perform as well as they should. This could lead to longer stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will replace the brake fluid reservoir cap with a new one that clearly explains how to fill the brake system, and they'll do it at no cost to you.
