Component
EXTERIOR LIGHTING
Manufacturer
BMW of North America, LLC
What Happened
The rear reflex reflectors on your vehicle are designed to make your car more visible to other drivers when you're driving at night. Unfortunately, some 2013 BMW 5-series models may not have reflectors that reflect enough light.
Risk if Unfixed
If the reflectors don't work properly, your vehicle may be harder to see by other drivers, especially at night or in low-light conditions. This could increase the risk of a collision.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will replace the faulty reflectors with new ones, free of charge. You should schedule a service appointment as soon as you get the recall notice to ensure your visibility and safety on the road.
