What Happened
The window lifting anti-pinching device in your car is a safety feature that prevents windows from pinching your fingers. In some cases, this device might not work properly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the device fails, you or a passenger could get pinched by a closing window, which could cause injury.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will check the device and replace it if necessary, free of charge. You should schedule the service as soon as possible and follow up with the dealer if you don't see the repair completed within a reasonable time.

OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT BMW AT 1-800-831-1117.
