BACK OVER PREVENTION: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA

Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
The rearview camera system in your vehicle uses a camera to show you what's behind your car when you're in reverse. But in some 2019-2026 models, a software glitch could prevent the image from showing up on your screen.
Risk if Unfixed
If the rearview image doesn't display, you'll have a limited view of what's behind your vehicle. This could increase your risk of a crash, especially when reversing out of a parking spot or driveway.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will update the camera system's software for free. This will ensure the rearview image displays correctly, and you'll have a better view of what's behind your vehicle. The repair is free, so schedule it with your dealer as soon as you get the recall notice.
