BACK OVER PREVENTION: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA

Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
The rearview camera on your vehicle is like a pair of eyes in the back of your head. It helps you see what's behind you when you're reversing. In some 2019-2026 models, the camera image might not show up on your screen as it should, due to a software glitch.
Risk if Unfixed
If the rearview camera image doesn't display, you'll have a harder time seeing what's behind your vehicle, which could lead to a crash when reversing or backing up.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will update the camera system's software for free, so you get a clear view behind your vehicle. Schedule the update as soon as you get the recall notice, and it won't cost you a thing.
