What Happened
The rear axle in your Audi is connected to the wheels by axles and control arms. In some 2019-2021 models, the alignment of these components might not have been properly checked after a previous repair.
Risk if Unfixed
If the rear axle isn't properly aligned, the tires could wear down unevenly, increasing the risk of a blowout or skidding, which could cause a crash.

SUSPENSION:REAR:AXLE:NON-POWERED AXLE ASSEMBLY

What Happened
The lock nut is a critical part that keeps the rear axle of your vehicle stable. In some 2021 Audi models and certain 2019-2021 models, this lock nut can break due to rust and corrosion.
Risk if Unfixed
If the lock nut fails, the rear axle can become misaligned, causing your vehicle to pull to one side while driving. This can make it difficult to control your vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

What Happened
The gateway control module in your Audi is a computer that helps control various systems in your vehicle. It's located in the trunk, and in some 2019-2022 models, liquid spilled in the rear seat can seep in and cause it to fail.
Risk if Unfixed
If the gateway control module shuts down while you're driving, your engine power will suddenly drop, making it harder to accelerate and increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will install a protective cover to shield the gateway control module from spills, and this repair is completely free. You should schedule it as soon as you get the recall notice.

What Happened

What Happened
The rearview camera system in your vehicle is an important safety feature that helps you see what's behind your car. In certain 2019-2026 Audi models, a software glitch could cause the camera image to not display as it should.
Risk if Unfixed
If the rearview camera image doesn't show up, you'll have a blind spot right behind your vehicle, making it harder to avoid collisions or see pedestrians or other cars.
