SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:PEDALS AND LINKAGES

Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
The brake pedal in your Audi is connected to the brake booster by a small fastener. In affected vehicles, this fastener might have been installed incorrectly, which could cause the brake pedal to come loose.
Risk if Unfixed
If the brake pedal detaches, you could lose brake function, making it harder to stop your vehicle safely. This increases the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will inspect and tighten the brake pedal's connection to the brake booster, if necessary, at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.

BACK OVER PREVENTION: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA

Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
Your vehicle's rearview camera helps you see what's behind you. Unfortunately, a software glitch might be hiding the camera image, making it harder to see what's behind your vehicle.
Risk if Unfixed
If the camera image isn't working, you won't have a clear view of what's behind you, which increases the chance of a crash when reversing.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will update the camera software for free, so you can get a clear view of what's behind your vehicle. You should schedule the update as soon as you get the recall notice.
