What Happened
The passenger air bag in your Audi is a safety device that deploys in the event of a crash to protect you. Unfortunately, some 2021 RS6 and RS7 models, as well as 2020-2021 A6 and S6 models, have a problem with the air bag's score line, which could make it not work properly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the air bag doesn't deploy correctly in a crash, you could be at risk of serious injury. In the worst case, the air bag could even send sharp plastic fragments flying into the passenger compartment, making things even more hazardous.
Free Fix
Audi will inspect the air bag for free and repair it if necessary. You'll get a notice when it's time to bring your vehicle in, and the work will be done at no cost to you.
