SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:PEDALS AND LINKAGES

Manufacturer
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.)
What Happened
The brake pedal pivot pin is the little metal piece that connects the brake pedal to the floor of your vehicle. In some 2021-2025 Acura TLX, 2023-2025 Acura MDX, and 2023-2025 Honda Pilot models, this pin wasn't attached properly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the brake pedal shifts out of position, you might not be able to press it down hard enough to stop the vehicle, even if you're trying to. This could lead to a serious crash or injury.
Free Fix
Your Acura or Honda dealer will inspect and replace the brake pedal assembly to ensure it's secure and working properly – at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.

AIR BAGS:SENSOR:OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION:FRONT PASSENGER

Manufacturer
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.)
What Happened
Your vehicle's front passenger seat has a sensor that helps the airbags decide whether to deploy. In your affected Honda or Acura, this sensor might crack and short circuit, causing the airbags to go off unexpectedly during a crash.
Risk if Unfixed
If the sensor fails, your airbags could deploy without warning, which could lead to serious injury. This is because the airbags are meant to deploy to protect you in a crash, not to surprise you in the middle of driving.
Free Fix
Your Honda or Acura dealer will replace the faulty sensor, free of charge, as soon as you get the recall notice. This repair is a necessary safety fix to ensure your airbags work properly in an emergency.
