What Happened
Toyota is recalling your 2025 RAV 4 to fix a problem with the front seat brackets, which may not be securely attached to the seat rails.
Risk if Unfixed
If your seat brackets are not properly attached, you could be at risk of injury in a crash because your seat may not keep you safely restrained.
Free Fix
Toyota will inspect and fix the seat bracket welds for free, and they'll send you a letter with more details in June 2026. You can also contact them at 1-800-331-4331 with any questions.

Original — What Happened
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2025 RAV 4 vehicles. The front seat brackets for the seat rails may be welded improperly.

Improperly welded seat brackets can prevent the seat from adequately restraining an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Original — Remedy
Dealers will inspect and repair the seat bracket welds as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 7, 2026. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 26TB09 and 26TA09.
