NHTSA Recall #26V691000 — LINCOLN Navigator SEATS
Show original NHTSA language
What happened
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2025-2027 Lincoln Navigator vehicles. The Rear Audio Control Module (RACM) may inadvertently command the chauffeur seat feature, causing the front passenger seat to adjust forward, rearward, or recline unexpectedly without occupant input.
Risk if unfixed
A front passenger seat that moves unexpectedly can contact second-row passengers, or force the front passenger into an unsafe seating position, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy
Dealers will update the accessory protocol interface module (APIM) and rear audio control module (RACM) software to disable chauffeur mode, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed in November 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 26S77. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on October 26, 2026.
