What Happened
The engine bearings in your 2023-2025 Rogue with a 1.5L VC-Turbo engine are in charge of keeping your engine running smoothly. Over time, extremely hot temperatures could break down the oil, causing the bearings to seize and potentially ruin the engine.

If the bearings fail, you could lose power while driving, which would increase the risk of a crash. In the worst-case scenario, the engine block could crack, releasing hot oil and potentially causing a fire.
