What Happened
The rearview display in your vehicle is connected to the infotainment system, which shows you what's behind you. In some 2021-2022 models, the system can get stuck in a reboot loop, making the display go dark.
Risk if Unfixed
If the rearview display is out, you'll have reduced visibility of what's behind you, which could lead to a crash when reversing or backing up.

How to Get This Fixed

Free Fix
Your Nissan dealer will update the infotainment software, or you can get the update sent directly to your vehicle through an online update - both are free of charge. Look for a letter from Nissan around November 18, 2022, and contact them at 1-800-867-7669 if you have questions.
