Your Tacoma has special anchors that hold your child's car seat in place. In some 2022-2023 models, the welds holding these anchors together might not be strong enough.

If the weld is weak, your child's car seat might not stay secure during a sudden stop or crash, which could lead to serious injury.
Free Fix
Your Toyota dealer will inspect the anchors and reattach them with stronger welds, if needed, at no cost to you. You'll get a recall notice with instructions on what to do next.
