What Happened
The top child seat tether anchor on the middle seat in your BMW is the part that helps keep a child's car seat secure. In some 2020-2021 models, it's not easily accessible, which could be a problem.

How to Get This Fixed

Your BMW dealer will install a cover on the middle seat to make the tether anchor more accessible, and this repair is free. Until then, you should use the outboard rear seats with the easy-to-use tether anchors, or the middle seat with the three-point safety belt.
