What Happened
The Passenger Occupant Detection System in your vehicle uses sensors to decide if the passenger air bag should deploy in case of an accident. But in some 2015-2019 Audi models, a faulty electrical connection could cause this system to think it's not working properly and shut off the air bag.
Risk if Unfixed
If the passenger air bag is disabled, it won't deploy in a crash, which means you or your passenger could be at risk of serious injury.
