Ford is recalling your vehicle because the Canister Purge Valve (CPV) might not work properly, which can affect the fuel system.

If the CPV malfunctions, your engine could stall while driving, making it hard to restart and increasing the risk of a crash.
RESOLUTION_PROTOCOL
Ford will notify you and fix your vehicle for free. Dealers will reprogram the Powertrain Control Module and replace the CPV, carbon canister, fuel tank, and fuel delivery module if needed.
