SEATS:MID/REAR ASSEMBLY
What Happened
The third row seat in your Audi Q7 is designed to move forward when you adjust it, but in certain 2017 models, it could move forward unexpectedly if there's a strong impact, like in a crash.
Risk if Unfixed
If the third row seat moves forward during a crash, it could put you or a passenger at risk of getting hurt, since the seat won't be in its proper position to absorb the impact.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will install a reinforcing bracket to the seat to keep it in place, and this repair is free for you. You should schedule the repair when you receive the recall notice in November 2016.
