What Happened
The side curtain air bags in your MINI Clubman are designed to protect you and your passenger in the event of a side crash. But in some 2016-2017 models, these air bags might not inflate properly.

If the side curtain air bags don't deploy correctly, you and your passenger could be at a higher risk of injury in the event of a side collision.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will make adjustments to the air bag covers to ensure they inflate correctly, and this repair is free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice.
