What Happened
The Engine Control Module in your Ram 6.7L Cummins Diesel engine is the computer that manages the engine's performance. In some 2016 trucks built between July 31 and August 13, 2015, this computer might short circuit and fail.
Risk if Unfixed
If the Engine Control Module fails without warning, your engine could stall on the road, making it hard to control your vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Ram dealer will replace the faulty Engine Control Module with a new one at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice.
