What Happened
The door latches in your vehicle are the parts that secure your doors shut. In some 2011-2014 Fords, these latches can break, making it hard to close the doors or making you think they're closed when they're not.
Risk if Unfixed
If a door isn't fully latched, it could swing open while you're driving, putting you or a passenger at risk of injury.
Free Fix
Your Ford dealer will replace all four of your door latches with improved ones, free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.
