What Happened
The electronic control unit (ECU) in your vehicle is like the brain that controls your headlights, tail lights, and windshield wipers. In some 2009-2010 Mitsubishis, this ECU might have a manufacturing flaw that causes unstable voltage.

If the voltage in your ECU is unstable, your headlights, tail lights, and windshield wipers could start acting erratically.
