AIR BAGS

What Happened
The air bag control module in your Audi is a computer that decides when to deploy the airbags in case of a crash. In some 2013-2015 A4, S4, and Allroad models, this computer has a faulty algorithm that might not tell the front airbags to deploy in a secondary impact, like a crash into a pole after a first impact.
Risk if Unfixed
If the front airbags don't deploy in a secondary crash, you could be at higher risk of injury to yourself or your passengers, even if the initial impact didn't seem severe.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will update the air bag control unit software to ensure the front airbags deploy properly in case of a secondary impact — and this repair is completely free. You'll get a notification with instructions on when to schedule the fix.
