What Happened
The wiring in your vehicle connects the engine to the computer. In some 2013-2014 Escapes and Focus STs with 2.0 liter engines, the connections between the engine and the computer may not be secure, causing incorrect signals to be sent.

If this happens, your engine could hesitate or stall while you're driving, making it harder to control the vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash.
