Component
SEATS:MID/REAR ASSEMBLY
What Happened
The second row seat in your Highlander has a part that connects it to the floor. In some 2014 models, this part didn't attach properly, which could cause the seat to shift while driving.
Risk if Unfixed
If this happens, the seat could move around in the event of a crash, putting the person sitting there at risk of injury.
Free Fix
Your Toyota dealer will check the seat and replace it if needed, all for free. You'll get a notice in the mail with instructions on when to schedule the repair.
