What Happened
The driver's side door module in your vehicle contains electronic parts that control the power door lock and window switches. Over time, fluid can seep into the module and cause corrosion, which could lead to a short circuit.
Risk if Unfixed
If the circuit board short circuits, it could cause a fire in your vehicle. This could happen even when the car is parked, and a fire could cause serious injury or damage. To be safe, you should park your vehicle outside until the repair is done.

How to Get This Fixed

Free Fix
When the necessary parts become available in March 2013, your dealer will contact you to schedule a free repair. They'll replace the faulty door module with a new one, at no cost to you.
