What Happened
The electrical cables in your 2010-2011 DTS or Buick Lucerne with a V8 engine have a design flaw that could cause them to touch the power steering return line. This can lead to a power steering fluid leak.
Risk if Unfixed
If the cables wear through the power steering line, you could lose power steering while driving, making it harder to control your vehicle. A leak could also spill fluid onto hot engine parts, causing a fire in the engine compartment.
