What Happened
The brake master cylinder in your vehicle is a crucial part that helps apply the brakes. The seal at the back of the master cylinder needs a special type of brake fluid to stay healthy.
Risk if Unfixed
If you use the wrong brake fluid, the seal can dry out and slowly leak brake fluid into the brake booster. Over time, this could affect how your brake pedal feels and make your brakes less effective, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Honda dealer will replace the faulty seal in the brake master cylinder for free. You'll get a notification starting in December 2010, and you should schedule the repair as soon as you can.
