What Happened
The brake pipe in your vehicle is a vital part that connects the brake system to the front wheels. In some cases, this pipe can develop a hairline crack during the manufacturing process.

If the brake pipe cracks or breaks, you might feel the brake pedal travel further than usual when you press it. This could make your brakes less effective, and if you're driving fast, you could lose control of your vehicle and be more likely to crash.
Free Fix
Your authorized dealer will replace the faulty brake pipe with a new one at no cost to you. You'll receive a notification letter on May 29, 2003, and you should schedule the repair as soon as possible.
