What Happened
The outboard seat belt retractors in your vehicle's 2nd and 3rd row seats have a small internal part that could crack over time. This part helps lock the seat belt in place.
Risk if Unfixed
If the crack gets worse, your seat belt might not lock when you need it to in a crash. This could lead to serious injury to you or your passengers.
Free Fix
Your dealer will check the seat belts for you and replace them if necessary, at no cost to you. They'll also give you an inspection procedure to check the belts yourself, or you can schedule a free repair with your dealer.
