What Happened
Your vehicle's fuel pump service cover might be contacting the fuel pump's filter flange, which could crack and cause a fuel leak.
Risk if Unfixed
If there's a fuel leak near an ignition source, it could lead to a fire.
Free Fix
We'll rework or replace the fuel pump flange, cover it with a protective film, and inspect it for cracks, all for free.

Original — What Happened
Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2015-2018 Macan vehicles. The fuel pump service cover may contact the flow nozzle on the filter flange of the fuel pump, potentially causing cracks and a fuel leak.
Original — Risk if Unfixed
Fuel leakage in the presence of an ignition source may increase the risk of a fire.
Original — Remedy
Porsche will rework or replace and apply a protective film to the fuel pump flange. in addition, the fuel pump flange will be inspected and replaced if cracks are present. The recall began April 10, 2020. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is ALA2.

If the brake booster is damaged, you might not get the usual boost of power when you press the brakes, which could lead to a crash.

Don't worry, this is a free fix! Porsche will notify you and their dealers will inspect and replace the brake booster, if necessary, at no cost to you.

Original — What Happened
Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain model year 2015 Macan vehicles manufactured March 6, 2014, to April 26, 2014. During manufacturing, the brake booster may have been damaged during installation.
Original — Risk if Unfixed
If the brake booster was damaged during installation, the vacuum in the brake booster may drop when the brakes are actuated, resulting in a reduced brake force boost, increasing the risk of a crash.
Original — Remedy
Porsche will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the brake booster, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on December 29, 2014. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-545-8039. Porsche's number for this recall is AE02.
