What Happened
The fuel tank leveling valve in your vehicle is a small part that helps the fuel tank seal properly when it's full. In certain situations, like when it's parked on a slope and it gets hot outside, this valve might not work correctly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the valve fails to seal, fuel could leak onto the ground and, if there's an ignition source nearby, it could catch fire.
Free Fix
Your Mitsubishi dealer will replace the faulty valve for free. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible to prevent any potential issues.
