What Happened
Your 2020 MINI Hardtop 2-Door Cooper, Cooper S, or JCW vehicle may not have a crucial safety part called a crash pad in the rear side trim panels, which could make an accident worse for rear seat passengers.
Risk if Unfixed
If you're in a side-impact crash, the lack of a crash pad could increase the risk of injury to people sitting in the rear seats.
Free Fix
MINI will fix this for free by installing the crash pads, and they'll notify you when it's time to bring your vehicle in.
