TRAILER HITCHES

Manufacturer
Curt Manufacturing LLC
What Happened
Your vehicle's trailer hitch is a metal bar that attaches to the back of your Mini Cooper to carry a trailer. In some cases, the hitch on your 2016-2018 Mini Cooper Clubman or Countryman might not be securely attached, which could cause it to sag or break loose while you're driving.
Risk if Unfixed
If the hitch fails, it could come loose and separate from your vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. This is a serious situation that could put you, your passengers, and others on the road at risk.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the trailer hitch with a new, more secure one at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible to ensure your safety on the road.
