POWER TRAIN Safety Recalls

Critical #24V470000 Plain English
Component

POWER TRAIN:DRIVELINE:DRIVESHAFT

Manufacturer
Nissan North America, Inc.
What Happened
Your vehicle has a recall notice for a potential issue with the driveshaft, which connects the transmission to the wheels. The driveshaft is a crucial component that helps your vehicle move when you put the gearshift in gear.
Risk if Unfixed
If the driveshaft breaks, it could cause your vehicle to lose power while driving, or roll away unexpectedly when you put it in park without using the parking brake. This could lead to an increased risk of a crash.
Free Fix
You should have already received a letter, but if not, you can contact INFINITI's customer service at 1-800-662-6200. They will replace the driveshaft for free to ensure your safety on the road.
